My Family: Kris (Married 26 years), Tim (23), Daniel (21)
My Story: When I was a child I gave my life to Christ. I was never discipled or taught to follow Jesus. After many mistakes and crazy living our Heavenly Father graciously, through many difficult circumstances, drew me into a relationship with him when I was about 22. Since that transformative season and call on my life I have wanted nothing more than to live for Jesus and to tell others about him!
Education: BA from San Francisco State and Colorado Christian University, Continued Studies at Western Seminary
Previous Lines of Work: I worked in a group home, as a crisis counselor, and as a Youth Pastor and Teaching/Associate Pastor for 5 different churches.

Favorite Bible Story: When Peter saw Jesus on the shore after his resurrection. He left everything and went to Jesus! The story is told in John 21.
Best Advice Someone Gave Me: Every moment is a teaching moment.

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: The Lord’s voice couldn’t have been more clear and audible one morning before my shift ended at a group home: Check on Rachel! “ Lord, I’m off the clock”. Check on Rachel, she needs you! She was a beautiful 12 year-old girl, that functioned as a 3 year-old, who struggled greatly with epilepsy. As I walked toward her room, passing the bathroom I saw her drowning in the bath tub as a seizer gripped her body. She lived to laugh and play another day… Oh how God cares and in His kingdom the least will always be first!!
Most people don’t know this about me: I’m a crazy introvert.

Interim Executive & Worship Pastor
When did I join the Leesburg Community Church staff: I joined our staff in February of 2019 as the Interim Worship and Executive Pastor. It is a joy to serve here and I’m enjoying getting to know so many faithful servants.
What areas of ministry have I served in: I served for 12 years in the worship ministry of Reston Bible Church. During the last ten of those years, I was the Executive Pastor with responsibility for the staff, operations and finances of the church.
My Family: Heidi and I have been married for 35 years and have two boys, Spencer (29) and Mason (26).
My Story: I came to know Christ through the ministry of Youth for Christ when I was 16 years old. There was a teacher at LCHS who took kids every Saturday night to Arlington for YFC rallies. I heard the message of Christ and responded. I then began to travel and sing for YFC for the next few years.
Education: I graduated from Loudoun County High School and earned a degree in Music Education from West Chester University. I have also studied at Reformed Theological Seminary and the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation.
Previous Lines of Work: I was privileged to travel and sing with GLAD for 35 years. During those years we traveled extensively both nationally and internationally while producing 23 albums. I was also a Paper Boy in Leesburg when I was a kid.
Favorite Food: Filet Mignon at Sweetwater Tavern or almost anything Heidi cooks.
Favorite Place in the World: New York City Theater District

Best Advice Someone Gave Me: During the GLAD years, Ron Jenkins told us, “Have a ministry to each other and then you’ll have a ministry to the world.”

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: Discovering the sovereignty of God while on a trip to Indonesia. When I returned from that trip, I began to read voraciously

My Family: Married to Elise with two little boys.
My Story: I've known Christ from a young age, 7 or 8, and have been learning how to follow him ever since.
Education: Graduate of Trinity College of Florida and currently in school at Regent University

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: Going on a foreign mission trip and worshiping with believers from another country. It reminded me that God is the same everywhere.
Most people don’t know this about me: I have a slightly irrational fear of flying bugs.

When did I join the Leesburg Community Church staff? I joined LCC in May of 2011 as the youth intern
What areas of ministry have I served in? I have primarily served in youth but also have lead missions teams and small group ministries in the church.
My Family: I met my wife here while she was the worship intern. We got married June 8, 2013 and have a six month old boy named Graham.
My Story: I came to Christ at a camp called the Wilds when I was going to Leesburg Christian School
Education: I have a B.S in Religion- Biblical Studies from Liberty University and am currently working on a Masters at Southeastern Baptist seminary.
Previous Lines of Work: I had a lot of part time work ranging from Starbucks to loading planes for Independence Air. I also was on the mission field for 6 months in Phnom Penh Cambodia.
Favorite Food: Bacon. God is so good.
Favorite Place in the World: My favorite place in the world is wherever my family is at.
Favorite Hobbies: I love to play video games.
Favorite Sports Team: Anything Pittsburgh is what I cheer for. I’d be way more interested in NBA if Pittsburgh had a team.
Favorite Bible Story: Usually my favorite Bible story is whatever I’m studying, so right now that is Jonah or Abraham being commanded to sacrifice Isaac.
Best Advice Someone Gave Me: “Your 20’s are for failing and learning, not for producing anything. It takes a truly remarkable person to accomplish anything noteworthy before the age of 30.”

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: Seeing teenagers come to know Christ always blows my mind. Nothing tops it for me.

Pastor of Spanish Ministries
When did I join the Leesburg Community Church staff? In June 2016
What areas of ministry have I served in? I am serving as a pastor of the Hispanic ministry
My Family: I have been very happily married to Davie since June 24th 2000. We have two boys, Joseph our oldest is going to a junior in high school and the youngest son, Jeremy, is going into 5th grade.
My Story: I met Jesus in a Christian group when I was in college, they shared the gospel and I opened my heart to Jesus. Later, I was called to form and serve bi-occupation in pastoral ministry and that is what I have been doing.
Education: Bachelor of Administration, Major: Material and Financial Resources; 1999, Universidad Nacional “Simon Rodriguez” Venezuela.
Theological Studies; 1993, Latino American Faculty of Theological Studies, Venezuela.
Previous Lines of Work: God gave me the chance to develop a professional career as a former business owner in Venezuela, with over 20 years in the retail and financial industry, with an emphasis in the jewelry industry; which includes jewelry reparation, manufacturing, and customer service. Through this job, I had the chance to testify my faith to customers and employees and reach them for Jesus Christ.

Best Advice Someone Gave Me: An influential minister in Venezuela advised me to evaluate each day asking, “ how is my relationship with God?” Because that would be a spiritual strength forever.

My Family: Husband Dwayne-Eddie, children Sylvia(19) Trevor(17)
My Story: I grew up in a Christian family, went to a Christian school and learned all about Him through bible stories at church and school but until I came to LCC I didn't find out that He wanted to have a personal relationship with me! I gave my life and heart to Jesus in 2002 and was baptized soon after!

My Family: My wife Asia and my daughter Aniyah (5)
My Story: I grew up as a pastor’s kid and accepted Christ at a very young age. Throughout my teen years I strayed away to do my own thing, but learned quickly that God must always be the center of my life.

Women’s Ministry Director
When did I join the Leesburg Community Church staff: September 2017
What areas of ministry have I served in: children’s ministry, greeting team, board of directors, vision/strategic planning team, and women’s ministry.
My Family: married to Mark, son Austin, daughter Brianne, married to our son-in-love, Brad and grandson Drew.
My Story: I learned about God through VBS as a child; attended a youth event with my neighbor at age 11 and accepted Christ into my life.
Education: associates degree in travel & tourism
Previous Lines of Work: administrative assistant, travel agent & navy wife. Currently, I blend women’s ministry with mentoring women as a Sr. Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics (since 1989).
Favorite Food: steak
Favorite Place in the World: anywhere there are palm trees, sand and beaches.
Favorite Hobbies: decorating, creating, gardening
Favorite Sports Team: NFL football, Penn State football, and Loudoun County (freshman football & girls basketball with Coach Campbell)

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: I pray that everyday that God gives me the eyes and heart to see HIM in the daily living. I have felt his presence in many life experiences (good, bad & ugly). Also, traveling on mission trips (Romania) is an amazing experience of living it out and seeing God’s hand on his people and circumstances.
Most people don’t know this about me: I was born in Puerto Rico. I was a country tomboy growing up as a little kid.

Global Missions Coordinator
Bill was born in Grant, Va and raised in Falls Church. He met his wife Joyce in high school and have been married for 44 years. They moved to Leesburg in 1980 and started attending Leesburg Community Church that same year. Bill and Joyce have 3 children; Kate, Tim,and Chris and have 6 grandchildren with another due in November. Bill has had a career in mechanical HVAC contracting for 45 years and is semi retired from the family business. He has recently joined the staff as a volunteer, supporting pastoral ministry responsibilities and international missions. He has served as a deacon, a Sunday school teacher, bus driver, worked in the Men's Ministry, administrative board, prayer ministry, and participated in local and international mission trips. It has been a real blessing to serve along side the staff and the Church body. Bill enjoys following Nationals baseball, the University of Maryland Terps, and playing with his grandchildren.
