WAYS TO SERVE

MEN’S MINISTRY

Men’s Events Team: This is a great spot for you if you like to engage with men on a spiritual, social and serving level. If you want to help plan and coordinate events for men then this team is for you. We will be meeting quarterly with varying time associated with events once they have been planned.

Chairs Team: This is the team for you if you like moving and stacking things. Twice a month for about 30 minutes this team comes together to place all the chairs and tables needed for Sunday morning services.

Mowing Team: Do you like to mow and do yard work? If so this is the team for you. You will have the opportunity during the months of April to October to meet at the church twice a month for 2.5 hours each time to use our zero turn riding mowers, push mowers and trimmers. This is a great opportunity to keep our church clean by getting your hands dirty.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Ladies Bible Studies: This is a great spot for you if you love to lead ladies Bible studies (particularly evening sessions), to act as a facilitator for building community and digging into God’s word together. This is a weekly commitment running from the months of September until May.

Women’s Events: Do you want to serve but don’t have a ton of time? Then this is just your team! Twice a year at our women’s events there are opportunities to help  coordinate the food, set up, plan decorations and work the registration and welcome tables. We would love for you to be on our team!

Women's Executive Team: This is such a great spot if you love planning events that gather women together for fun, fellowship, and times to dive deeper in our faith. This team will meet periodically to plan out various events for the women of LCC.

Meal Train: This is a great spot for you if you love blessing people with the gift of food for folks and families in our church. There are two opportunities on this team. One is to be apart of the team that makes and delivers meals or sends gift cards for meals. A second opportunity we are looking for is someone who can coordinate the distribution of meals and organize the sign up through automation of mealtrain.com. Both opportunities happen periodically as needs arise.

Guest Services

This is the perfect spot for you if you love greeting and welcoming people who walk through the doors on Sunday mornings. This team greets people at the door, hands out worship guides, and registers guests into our church computer system where they will also pass out a welcome gift and direct where to go. This is a once a month commitment and with various opportunities available at all three services – Contemporary, Traditional and Spanish.

This team washes, dries and folds tablecloths from the coffee service on Sunday morning and for special events. Once a month simply pick up the tablecloths after service and return during the week folded or the following Sunday.
