Water’s Edge is....

http://www.leesburgcc.org/uploads/about_we.jpg

.....a spiritual environment where 20-30 somethings can connect with Jesus Christ using an intentional, edgy, friendly service. Jesus clearly gave us his mandate: “Go make disciples”.  What does a disciple look like and how are disciples produced?  This is the question that we wrestle with everyday.  Our goal is to communicate the good news about Jesus Christ in an understandable way – to those both inside and outside the context of the church.  We are compelled to reach a culture that is saturated with technology and whose young adults can be described as:

-
wanting to integrate their faith into their life over ‘just doing church'
-
living out their biblical knowledge with others over ‘just knowing the Bible'
-
looking at faith as a life-long process of change over ‘doctrine and what to believe’
-
serving others in community and the world over ‘just serving at the church'
